About Freda's Kitchen – Ethnic foods taught by personal chefs, not just a cooking class

I’m Michell Huber, creator of Freda’s Kitchen.  Freda’s Kitchen brings to life the old world tradition of cooking with friends and family. Freda was my “babcia”, which means grandma in Polish.  My best childhood memories were spent in the kitchen with her making pierogi and krusczyki.

Throughout the years, the experience of spending time in the kitchen and laughing with good friends brought back all of those wonderful, warm, feelings of belonging from my childhood.

I work with local ethnic chefs and talented cooks who have a passion for their cuisines and want to share their cultures and recipes with you.
